I don't know why, but it feels like this last week has taken so long to pass. Tomorrow the kids go back to school. I find out when I start my job at GameStop. I don't doubt that God has a plan for my life, and I have already claimed the job at GameStop in the name of the Lord. I just hope he agrees with me.
I worked on my game design document a bit today, and I realized that I've got a lot of work cut out for me. I've gotten the basic idea down for the first level, but I honestly cannot see the game in my mind. So I am debating on if I should just leave that part out of the GDD in order to give my team (still need to get one of those too) creative freedom to see what they come up with. Oh well, I guess I still have miles to go before I sleep.
Faith certainly tells us what the senses do not...Faith is not contrary to the usual ideas, something that turns out to be right or wrong, like a gambler's bet: it's an act, an intention, a project, something that makes you, in leaping into the future, go so far, far, far ahead that you shoot clean out of time and right into Eternity, which is not the end of time or a whole lot of time or unending time, but timelessness..
