FINALLY EMPLOYED!!

oh man, I got a job at Gamestop.....I got a freakin job at GAMESTOP!!! I know it may not mean much to you, but I have not been able to get a job revolving around video games for 27 years that I've been walking this earth. Now I have a job where I can talk video games all day long. I haven't actually worked yet but I filled out my paperwork yesturday so....woooooooohh!!! Step one accomplished. Honestly I would not mind it if I end up becoming like a store manager of a Gamestop or something like that. All I can say is God is good people and its never too late to chase your dreams.

Introductions

Ok so for those of you who don't know me, I am married, have 8 children and am an avid gamer. I play it all from racing, to fps, to rts, to mmo's, to platformers. I've played them all. My children range from ages 12 down to 2, and at least 4 of them show interest in video games.

Now you may be wondering what my position is on children and games rated M. I honestly have no problem with my kids playing extremely violent video games. I raise my children to know that you can't just go out into society killing people and I moniter their gameplay. However I do feel that adult language is not acceptable for children to be exposed to. For example, my kids are not allowed to play Grand Theft Auto, but they are allowed to play Crackdown. Both contain violence but Crackdown doesn't drop F-bombs every 5 minutes.

Long story short: Video Games don't make people violent, but they can curve the direction that your vocabulary grows.
